Skialpinistický závod O dřevěného Krakonoše 2007 je přeložen
Skialpinistický závod Rock Point Českého poháru ve skialpinismu 2007, který měl proběhnout 27.ledna v Rokytnici n. Jiz. je přeložen.
Náhradní termín je sobota 3. února 2007.
Organizátoři tak rozhodli dopoledne 24. ledna. Současná situace nedovoluje vést závodní trať terénem v okolí Rokytnice n. Jiz. Zvláště nebezpečné jsou sjezdy v exponovaném lesním terénu. Důvodem je nedostatečná vrstva sněhové pokrývky bez potřebného „základu“.
Případné zrušení závodu i v náhradním termínu bude zveřejněno na webu 31.ledna 2007 v odpoledních hodinách.
Přihlášky je možno stále posílat elektronickou poštou na: alpin.club@seznam.cz . Uzávěrka došlých přihlášek je prodloužena a bude v pátek 2.února v 9,00 hodin.
Organizátoři z Alpin clubu v Rokytnici děkují všem příznivcům „Krakonoše“ a těší se na shledanou!

As it stands, the layer of snow is not thick enough to provide a safe base for racing driving directions. The competitors' safety is the most important thing, and running the race in these conditions could be very dangerous.

It’s a smart and responsible decision to postpone the race given the unsafe snow conditions, especially with risky downhill sections in forest terrain. Safety should always come first.
