Participation of foreign athletes in competitions in the Czech Republic in 2026 is possible under the following conditions:

1. Foreign athletes without permanent residence in the Czech Republic may apply for participation in the Czech Cup (top national competition) and/or the International Czech Championships without being members of the Czech Mountaineering Association (ČHS).
   Foreign athletes who are not members of ČHS are not allowed to compete in lower competitions such as the 2nd league and 3rd league. 
2. Any foreign athlete may become a member of a registered Czech climbing club and the Czech Mountaineering Association (ČHS).
   A foreign ČHS member must pay the annual membership fee and, if required, obtain a competition license.
   These athletes may participate in all ČHS events and are considered full members without restrictions. 
3. For each event, ČHS will allocate a limited number of spots for foreign athletes who are not members of ČHS.
   The expected number is 3 to 10 places per event, depending on local conditions, especially the capacity of the climbing wall, venue size, and the expected number of registered ČHS members. 
4. Foreign athletes who are not members of ČHS may register for the competition through the league administrator.
   Registration is on a first come, first served basis (until capacity is reached).

5. ČHS reserves the right to cancel the registration of foreign athletes who are not members of ČHS at the registration deadline.
   The deadline is usually Monday in the week of the event. 

1. Entry fee must be paid by bank transfer upon registration.
   The fee is charged in EUR:
• categories U11, U13, U15: 30 EUR 
• categories U17, U19, U21 and adults: 40 EUR 

Foreign athletes who are not members of ČHS must be able to provide proof of payment on the day of the competition (e.g. in case of delayed international transfer).

1. Prizes and awards 
• a) At Czech Cup events, foreign athletes (non-members of ČHS) receive all awards and prizes. 
• b) At Czech Championships in categories U11–U21, foreign athletes (non-members of ČHS) receive only event awards (medal/diploma). 
• c) At the International Czech Championships in the adult category, foreign athletes (non-members of ČHS) receive all awards and prizes.
